Château Pétrus

Who does not know Pétrus? A small estate of 11.4 hectares has gained world wide attention since 2010 when it stopped making wine and only sells its remains. Its glamour dates back to 1878 though, when Pétrus won Gold in the Paris Exposition Universelle and gained high accreditation, bumping up his price level to the top wines of the country. Today we buy bottles of 75 cl on average for €2.600.
